Jimmy Turner is Senior Director of Gardens at the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden where he designs the color and perennial displays featuring more than 500,000 bulbs and 2.3 million bedding plants for the 66 acre garden. He also oversees plant trials and research. With over two acres dedicated to trialing more than 3,000 new and known varieties of plants every year, the Arboretum has become a major source of information for the horticulture industry across the globe as well as the gardening public, particularly for extreme climates and heat tolerance. Jimmy is a frequent presenter locally and nationally, and is a prolific writer of articles for trade magazines.
